Set the units before adding amounts

A hotel quote is usually a room charge; a meal allowance here is per traveller per day. Transport, activities, flights, insurance and other costs are entered as totals for everyone in the party. Days and accommodation nights are separate inputs. Use one currency for every amount; changing its label does not convert the figures.

Zero means an item is unpriced or deliberately excluded. A total made from zeros is not evidence that a trip is free. Enter taxes, luggage, local transfers and any separately charged services in the applicable category.

A small example you can check

For two travellers, one room costing 100 units per night over three nights is 300 units, not 600. Four days of meals at 20 units per traveller per day adds 160. If the remaining whole-party costs are 140, the subtotal is 600. A reserve of ten percent adds 60, giving 660 for the party or an equal share of 330. These are invented arithmetic inputs, not prices for a destination.

Compare offers without changing the trip

1. Use the same dates, occupancy and cancellation conditions for room comparisons.
2. Identify whether a vehicle or activity quote is per traveller or for the group before entering it.
3. Keep international flights and entry costs explicit. Include uncovered transfers, baggage and admission.
4. Keep the quote date. Reconfirm availability and terms before paying; this workbook cannot reserve or verify them.
